Agile Project Leader Practitioner
This is an oral examination, based on an experience report (synopsis) and a cv. This is seen as Project Manager (the successful candidate would have shown experience of leading an Agile team and would demonstrate at the oral exam the understanding of how to be an Agile Project Leader). The examiners will ask questions about the experiences and about the competencies.
Prior training is not mandatory. The philosophy of this program is that a list of competencies is provided and the testing is related to these. How candidates gain knowledge about the competencies is up to them – training, books, networks, experience, etc. A recommended reading list can be provided.
These competencies represent common opinion about what Agile Project Leadership is. They are not tied to one Agile approach but rather are reflective of the shared elements of the most popular Agile approaches. They have been worked extensively by many of the foremost Agile practitioners and thought leaders. They will continue to be evolved as Agile approaches develop and mature.
