Training Route

This route is open to those who have attended DSDM training courses with an accredited DSDM training organisation. The candidate requires a minimum of 3 days DSDM training. Attendance on the courses may take place before or after gaining practical agile project experience.

A candidate should have at least two years practical project experience in a system development role, such as analyst/programmer, analyst, designer, consultant, project manager etc. or as an IT Aware user, with practical experience of system development.

Prior to submission of their application, they should have gained a minimum of 6 months practical experience on DSDM/agile projects. If DSDM was used, this would be advantageous. If not, the candidate would be expected to compare the agile approach used to that of DSDM, demonstrating DSDM knowledge.

The required 6 months practical agile project experience can be included within the two years systems development experience
